Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Orlando, FL is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience by creating accurate vehicle repair estimates and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurers. You will document interactions, communicate clearly, and ensure alignment with the shop's KPIs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of DRP experience, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to complete I-CAR training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Awareness of DRP procedures and compliance.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately.
• Provide information and guide customers through the repair process.
• Coordinate communication between customers and insurance companies.
• Ensure compliance with insurance program requirements and shop processes.
• Participate in production walks and team meetings.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
