Job summary

PPS-HPS in Massillon is seeking a Composite Mold Technician for 1st shift. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection and blow molds to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mold Technician or similar manufacturing maintenance role.
• Knowledge of injection molding and/or blow molding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Welding, machining, or tool repair experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on injection and blow molds
• Troubleshoot mold issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Read and interpret mold drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Assist with mold modifications and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve mold performance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards
• Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate maintenance needs
• Support training and knowledge sharing within the department
