Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window equipment, and trim to access vehicle components and fenders.
6. Participate in all safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise and guide apprentices or repair personnel as needed, explaining procedures and resolving issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Compensation is competitive and based on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. This position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages meeting local requirements. The listed pay range reflects an average full-time employee compensation.
