Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicles and plans repair processes efficiently.
• Communicates with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim for access to vehicle parts.
• Participates in all safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using appropriate tools.
• Supervises apprentices and assists with complex tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

This role offers a competitive compensation package based on experience and certifications, with an estimated annual pay range from USD $65,715 to $180,000, paid on a commission/flag rate structure that guarantees minimum wage compliance.
