Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of collision repair experience or completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Able to read and work from job orders and estimates with little supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use a frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair vehicles according to the estimate and quality standards.
• Restore body panels, structural components, and outer body parts to pre-accident condition.
• Communicate with management regarding additional repairs or delays.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and operate all equipment safely.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Wear all required PPE, including eye protection.
• Assist team members with repairs and preparation as schedule allows.
• Comply with all regulations governing body shop operations.
