Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking skilled collision repair professionals to plan and execute damage repair on vehicles. You will coordinate with teammates, perform high-quality repairs, and determine when to repair or replace parts to ensure safety and efficiency.

The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification, and I-CAR welding knowledge. You will work under safety guidelines and may mentor an apprentice as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine and perform precision measurements.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes and I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze measuring data and supervise technicians.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Coordinates with team on repair status and progress.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, components to access vehicle areas.
• Participates in safety meetings and follows procedures.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Mentors an apprentice and explains procedures when needed.
