The role emphasizes MIG welding, sheet metal work, painting, and glass installation performed with high attention to detail.

The position is full-time, in-person with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive hourly pay of $26.00–$30.00.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership or auto body shop experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto painting and glass installation.
• Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, sheet metal work, and hand/power tools.
• Experience with auto estimating software and customer service.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely in a physically demanding environment.
• Knowledge of auto restoration processes and airless paint spraying is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred; mechanic experience advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and collision damage restoration.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding), and airless paint sprayers to restore vehicles to their original condition.
• Fabricate and shape sheet metal components to match factory specifications using fabrication techniques and sheet metal skills.
• Conduct auto painting and auto glass replacement with precision, ensuring flawless finishes and customer satisfaction.
• Solder, weld, and assemble vehicle parts while adhering to safety standards and quality controls.
• Assist with auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks and auto estimating processes to ensure timely completion of repairs.
