Job summary

Woods Collision Center in Cincinnati is seeking skilled technicians to repair vehicles per estimates and OEM standards. You will restore panels, read job orders, and collaborate with team members to maintain safety and efficiency on a fast-paced shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of collision repair experience, knowledge of repair procedures, and the ability to work with frame machines. I-CAR welding certification is preferred. Health and retirement benefits plus paid training available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of collision repair experience or completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer repair procedures.
  • Able to read and work from job orders and estimates with little supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use a frame machine.
  • I-CAR welding certification preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, crouch, and reach in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Repair vehicles according to the estimate and established quality standards.
  • Restore body panels and structural components to pre-accident condition using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Communicate with management about additional repairs needed or delays.
  • Maintain tools and equipment and operate safely.
  • Keep the work area clean and safe at all times.
  • Wear required PPE including eye protection.
  • Assist team members with repairs and vehicle preparation as needed.
  • Comply with regulations governing body shop operations.

Responsibilities


Repair vehicles according to the estimate and established quality standards, including removing damaged parts and installing replacements


Restore body panels, structural components, and outer body parts to pre-accident condition using specialized tools and equipment


Communicate with management regarding additional repairs needed, potential delays, or changes to promised completion times


Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and operate all equipment safely


Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times


Wear all required personal protective equipment, including eye protection


Assist team members with repair and vehicle preparation as needed based on schedule and workload


Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations governing body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal

This position is paid on a commission flat-rate structure guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements.
