Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to examine damaged vehicles and plan efficient repairs. You will work with team members to ensure on-time status and high-quality results, including removing upholstery and accessing components as needed.

Applicants should have frame machine experience, I-CAR welding certification, and the ability to supervise junior staff. The role offers competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits and a performance-based pay structure.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a frame machine and perform repairs with precision.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer standards.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data on vehicles.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and mentor apprentices.

• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed.
• Explains procedures to assistants and resolves unusual problems.

We are committed to providing competitive compensation for this role. The actual offer will be based on various factors, including but not limited to: job related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant certifications and qualifications.

This position is paid on a commission/ flag rate structure. Flag pay is guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The compensation range listed is the average flag pay range for a typical full-time employee in this position.
