Job summary

Caron's Collision, powered by VIVE in Augusta, ME is hiring an Auto Body Shop Helper/Porter for a full-time role. You will pre-wash vehicles, move cars around the shop, pick up parts, and assist with basic repairs in a busy collision repair environment.

Must be at least 18, have a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be able to communicate clearly and follow instructions. Lifting up to 80 lbs and multi-tasking are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pre washes vehicles and moves them around the shop lot.
• Pick up parts from vendors and transport rental vehicles as needed.
• Assist in vehicle repair processes, including detail, prep, R&I, and mechanical tasks.
• General cleaning and maintenance of the shop and grounds.
• Housekeeping items and organizing the shop area.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $18.00 Hourly

• Pre washes vehicles
• Moves vehicles from the front to the back of the shop and arrange the shop lot
• Pick up parts from vendors
• Vehicle pick up and drop off (sublets)
• Pick up / Drop off customer vehicles
• Transport rental vehicles to and from Enterprise Rental
• Assist in the vehicle repair process (detail, prep, R&I, mechanical)
• General cleaning and maintenance of the shop/grounds
• Housekeeping items

Skills, Qualifications , & Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license with a great driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs

• Performing repetitive motions
