Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Repair Technician or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of repairs needed.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed for repair.
• Straighten bent frames and body panels using specialized equipment.
• Replace or repair damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers.
• Weld or bond replacement parts onto the vehicle as needed.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking.
• Mix paint according to specifications and apply it to the vehicle.
• Buff and polish painted surfaces for a seamless finish.
• Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure they are functioning properly.
