Job summary

Carvana seeks Autobody Preppers with at least one year of professional automotive bodywork experience to join our high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves performing light bodywork, prep, sanding, buffing, and bumper removal/installation to prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for customers.

Entry-level paths and training programs are available, with a competitive wage and perks such as a 401(k) match and a vehicle purchase discount.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to perform light bodywork.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat/cold.
• Use of safety equipment such as face shield, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask.

Responsibilities

• Prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles.
• Removing and installing bumpers.
• Minor plastic welding.
• Small area bodywork including Bondo repair.
