Job summary

Carvana is seeking Auto Painters with at least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience. The role includes priming vehicles, sanding before painting, buffing, touch-up, paint mixing, and airbrush work in a high-tech inspection center.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with automotive painting and finishing.
• Ability to operate painting tools and equipment in a fast-paced shop.
• Must be able to read and understand safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for cosmetic paintwork including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, tear down and buffing.
• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting, along with buffing and touch-up.
• Match and apply paints using water-based formulations in appropriate booths.
• Paint various coats and blend panels to achieve uniform finishes.
