Job summary

Mills Automotive Group is seeking an auto body prep technician to support the paint department by meticulously sanding, masking, and prepping panels for painting. Prior auto-body experience is a plus and we offer training opportunities to help you grow within the shop.

Starting pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00+ per hour, based on skills and experience. We provide a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Description

This position is involved in all aspects of the vehicle preparation process before a vehicle that has been in our shop for auto body repair goes to the paint department. Qualified candidates must possess attention to detail, high quality workmanship, and effective communication. Candidates must be passionate about working in the Auto Body industry!

The primary duties of this position are:

• Sanding and masking automotive panels in preparation for painting.


• Color sanding and polishing automotive panels after paint work is complete.


• Ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.


• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Prior auto-body experience is a plus though is not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available to those willing to grow.

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
