Job summary

Kupper Chevrolet & Subaruis is seeking a skilled automotive finisher to restore body finishes using buffing equipment and quality control to OEM standards. You will inspect color match, prepare surfaces, operate a rotary buffer, and ensure finishes meet texture and gloss specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with buffing and polishing to OEM quality.
• Ability to inspect color match and finish texture.
• Follow all safety and health procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect refinished body panels for color match and finish texture; refer any quality issues to supervisor
• Prepare surface for buffing utilizing finish sanding products and techniques
• Utilize rotary buffer, restore panel finish to required level of quality
• Visually inspect finished work relative to finish quality standards
• Remove and clean all compound or polish residue from buffed panels
• Follow all job related safety and health procedures
• Perform other job related duties as directed by supervisors

Utilizing buffing equipment, abrasives and compounds, restore automotive body finishes to original equipment manufacturer quality appearance.
