Job summary

Lithia Auto Body Express seeks a dependable Body Shop Metal Technician in Anchorage to repair and replace damaged panels, perform frame repairs with measuring systems, and fabricate metal components as needed.

You will analyze damage, follow OEM procedures, and maintain a safe, organized shop while collaborating with estimators and other techs to ensure quality repairs and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; 18+ years old.
• Experience in heavy collision repair and body panel work.
• Ability to follow OEM procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged body panels to manufacturer standards.
• Perform frame and unibody repairs using measuring systems and straightening equipment.
• Analyze damage and develop repair plans from estimates and OEM procedures.
• Operate welders, cut, grind, and fabricate metal components as needed.
