Bergstrom Auto’s Appleton Body Shop is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator. You’ll inspect damaged vehicles, generate detailed repair estimates, and clearly explain processes and pricing to guests.

You will collaborate with technicians and management to ensure timely, high-quality repairs, and maintain meticulous records for insurance purposes. We seek candidates with estimating software proficiency (Mitchell, CCC One) and a strong understanding of auto body procedures, paired with

Formación

• Previous experience as an auto body estimator or in a related automotive repair position.
• Knowledge of auto body repair procedures and industry standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to guests and insurance companies.
• Proficient in estimating software (Mitchell, CCC One) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and provide accurate, detailed estimates for repair costs.
• Explain the repair process and pricing to guests clearly and transparently.
• Collaborate with the Body Shop team to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to document damage and ensure repairs are covered.
• Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.
• Review repair orders and verify estimates align with approved repairs.
• Keep records of estimates, repairs, and insurance communications.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and updating guests on progress.
