Job summary

Norm Reeves Honda Irvine is seeking an Auto Body Buffer/Polisher to join our collision repair team in Irvine, CA. This on-site role offers an hourly rate of $19-$21 with a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am-5pm. We value pride in high-quality finishes and a fast-paced environment.

You will buff, color sand, inspect repairs, and assist with detailing to ensure vehicles meet our quality standards before delivery. Applicants should have prior buffer/polisher experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive buffer/polisher preferred.
• Knowledge of color sanding and paint correction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Buff and polish freshly painted vehicles and panels to achieve a flawless finish.
• Color sand painted surfaces to remove imperfections.
• Remove dust nibs, orange peel, runs, and other paint defects.
• Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality before delivery.
• Perform final quality control checks on paint appearance and finish.
• Assist with minor trim and molding reassembly after polishing.
• Perform final vehicle cleaning and detailing before customer delivery.
• Maintain buffing and polishing equipment in good working condition.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure timely vehicle completion.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
