Job summary

Akkodis is hiring a General Assembly worker for a 6-month contract with a client in Normal, IL. This on-site role requires a solid background in the automobile industry and provides a competitive pay range of $20 to $21 per hour on a W2 basis.

The position is a 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) with 40 hours per week and overtime on two Saturdays per month. Training will occur at the Hamilton training center using Torque Guns and wire harness routing; PPE including steel-toe shoes is provided as

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: At least 6 months in manufacturing, retail, food service, or similar environments.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, repetitive bending, reaching and kneeling.
• Skills: Focus on safety and quality, clear English communication, reliability and teamwork.
