Job summary

Sittercity.com is assisting a loving family in Marietta, Georgia, seeking a part-time babysitter to care for a 5-year-old non-verbal autistic boy. The role runs after-school hours with pickup, roughly Tue–Fri starting at 5:00 PM, with some morning coverage from 5:00 AM to support the family’s schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for a young child or children with autism preferred.
• Reliable, patient, and able to follow routines.
• Good communication and ability to work with a neurodiverse family.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school care for a 5-year-old non-verbal autistic boy.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, play, and learning activities.
• Support morning coverage from 5:00 AM to align with family schedule when needed.
• Safely transport or supervise pickup for school-related transitions as required.
