Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with autism by following personalized treatment plans and helping them build communication and social skills. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with optional Saturdays based on patient needs; training is provided and RBT certification is fully covered.

A Bachelor's degree is required. You will join a collaborative team, assist with data collection, and create a safe, engaging learning

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willing to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
• Watch a Behavior Technician at work.
