Job summary

Central York School District is seeking a full-time Special Education/IA/PCA Assistant – Autistic Support to join the Stony Brook Elementary instructional team in York, PA. Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary study (48 credits) OR Associates Degree or higher OR PDE competency via local assessments.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must have PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide and facilitate activities for all students in the assigned area.
• Assist students with IEPs, monitor behavior, take notes, and support homework and projects.
• Prepare students for quizzes and tests and assist with test administration under teacher guidance.
• Attend IEP and team meetings and become familiar with students' IEPs.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance and monitor student activities.
