Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a teacher aide or experience working with children.
• Ability to work under supervision of the teacher and with small groups.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records student data as instructed by the teacher.
• Provides discipline in the teacher's absence and follows established procedures.
• Implements behavior modification plans as directed.
• Supports speech and language activities with students as directed by speech therapist.
• Supervises learning centers and assists students with materials.
• Participates in classroom activities and discussions.
• Operates classroom audiovisual equipment and basic tech.
