QSAC, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for individuals with autism in Floral Park, NY. You will supervise Direct Support staff, implement treatment plans, and coordinate medical and recreational activities to promote independence and growth.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid/SCIP-R, and 1–2 years of OPWDD experience. Flexible schedules and strong teamwork are essential as part of a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AMAP, First Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certifications required or able to obtain on hire.
• Patience, willingness to learn, and ability to follow systematic procedures to support independence.
• 1-2 years of OPWDD experience.
• Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
• Clean/valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lb and assist movement.
• Ability to run when needed.
• Strong communication with individuals served and staff.
• Punctuality and regular attendance expected.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure program goals are implemented by Direct Support Professionals.
• Implement and adhere to established treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on supervision of individuals with Autism and implement behavior goals/plans.
• Maintain client’s personal allowance accounts.
• Schedule staff at the residence.
• Coordinate shopping and meal distribution.
• Coordinate medical appointments with Nurse/Medical Coordinator.
• Coordinate recreational goals and activities.
• Maintain all required certifications.
