Job summary

LittleStar ABA Therapy in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a motivated Music Therapist to provide Medicaid Waiver and private pay services. The role involves sessions at the West Lafayette therapy center, client homes, and community facilities, with travel not exceeding 30 miles.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in music therapy, MT-BC certification, CPR/First Aid, and experience with autism and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited program.
• MT-BC certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
• CPR and First Aid certification renewed annually.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct music therapy assessments to determine goals to be listed on the PCISP.
• Create and implement approved treatment plan based on music therapy assessment.
• Track data per session and report progress on quarterly reports to the treatment team.
• Communicate with clients’ families regarding services.
• Attend team meetings and maintain HIPAA compliance.
