Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with disabled students and behavior challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with professionals and facilitate inclusion.
• Willing to team teach with regular education staff.
• Knowledge of educational strategies and individualized instruction.
• Must complete training including CPR, First Aid, and Physical Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to students as required by WV State law and county policy.
• Develop and implement behavior modification plans and use appropriate strategies.
• Collaborate with other professionals to facilitate integration of exceptional students.
• Team teach with other Special Education and regular education staff during inclusion.
• Follow health care plans and complete required trainings, including CPR and First Aid.
