Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and employ evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist children to reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and complete onboarding requirements.
