Job summary

REACH Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Northeast Ohio to provide direct support to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. You will implement behavior intervention plans under supervision and collect data to monitor progress in various settings.

Role emphasizes structured behavioral therapy, collaboration with BCBA and multidisciplinary teams, HIPAA-compliant documentation, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.
• Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral therapy.
• Ability to create and implement effective care plans based on individual assessments.
• Strong skills in medical documentation and record keeping.
• Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for educating clients, families, and team members.
• Ability to adapt strategies based on client needs and progress.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
