Job summary

Centria Autism in Woodburn, OR is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and comfortable with physical tasks

Qualifications

  • Passionate about helping children with autism.
  • Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
  • Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
  • Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with the team to support each child’s progress.
