Job summary

Centria Autism in Manassas, VA seeks Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team. This role requires physical stamina to assist with activities and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay of $20–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test as required.
• Pass background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Support the BCBA under supervision to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Create a safe, engaging environment during sessions.
