Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to support children across our service areas, including New Castle and surrounding communities. You will provide direct ABA instruction, collaborate with BCBA colleagues, and support families with strategies for home and community use.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of experience with children in supervised settings or current enrollment in relevant undergraduate programs.

• Experience with ABA preferred; completion of Achieve Beyond training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and resources for home and community use.
• Collect daily data and maintain the child’s program book.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community and clinic settings. Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Behavior Therapists

LOCATION: Cases Available in New Castleand surrounding areas

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!

• At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting

OR

successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field

• Experience using ABA preferred
• Successful completion of 20 hour classroom training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing grade on competency exam upon completion of training

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be self- motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisor
• Passionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!
• Must be comfortable working in a home-based setting

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to climb and descend staircases
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periods

Compensation is determined based on experience and education, and will be discussed during the interview process.
