Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Nassau County is seeking part-time, hourly Autism Aides to support direct ABA instruction with children ages 2-21. You will work under BCBA-guided plans, participate in team meetings, and help families apply strategies at home and in the community.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, or be enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, or education; ABA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Completion of 20 hour classroom training and competency exam after training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to BCBA plans.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists.
• Communicate with families and provide resources for home/community use.
• Collect data and maintain child program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per state and federal regulations.
