Job Description
- Role: The Authorization and Accreditation Lead is a critical member of the Program Management Office (PMO), providing oversight, process improvement, and operational support to enhance program security policy, counterintelligence, and security controls. This role ensures seamless integration of solutions, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizes program processes to meet strategic objectives.
Core Responsibilities
- Complete new system(s) authorization and accreditation through the Sponsor's Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes, procedures, security requirements, and systems (e.g., Greenlight).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross‑functionally with technical teams, program staff, and leadership to streamline operations and drive program success.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all program documentation is up‑to‑date, accurate, and adheres to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Desired: Certified in AWS or equivalent cloud technology; Security+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and three (5) years of direct combined experience in IT systems administration, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response OR High School Diploma and eight (8) years of combined experience in IT systems administration, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Demonstrated six (6) years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or similar role accrediting Sponsor programs of similar scope or complexity.
- Experience with completing new system(s) authorization and accreditation through the Sponsor's A&A processes, procedures, security requirements, and systems (e.g., Greenlight).
- Experience in security policy, counterintelligence, and security controls.
Position Requirements
- Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
- Pay Range: 265,000–290,000.
