Job summary

BTI Security seeks Armed Security Officers to protect premises, monitor exterior areas, and manage access for employees and visitors. You will operate surveillance equipment, communicate clearly via radios, and respond to incidents as needed.

Candidates should have a valid Security Guard Card, 2+ years in security, and strong English skills. Roles include full-time, with shifts including nights and weekends, and equal opportunity employment.

• Armed Security Officers perform a variety of security-related duties depending on the post.


• Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.


• Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.


• Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.


• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.


• Must be able to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.


• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.


• Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.


• Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.


• Performing CPR or first aid when needed.


• Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
