Job summary

Jet Linx Aviation in Austin, TX is seeking a safety‑driven Second-in-Command to support Challenger 605 operations. In this full-time role, you will report to the Base Chief Pilot and contribute to safe, on-time operations for Part 91 and Part 135 flying.

Key responsibilities include assisting the Captain, managing duty/rest logs, maintaining EFB charts and company manuals, and upholding Jet Linx standards while preserving flight safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Flight time requirements: 2,500 hours total with 500 hours PIC, 500 hours multi-engine, 100 hours turbine, 150 hours instrument.

Responsibilities

• Support the Captain in all flight phases to ensure safe, compliant operations under FARs and procedures.
• Manage and track duty, flight, and rest times per company policy and CFRs.
• Maintain communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, and pre/post-flight reporting.
• Oversee EFB hardware and apps; ensure navigation charts, publications and manuals are current.
• Uphold high standards of airmanship, judgment, and proactive decision-making.
• Maintain a current First-Class Medical and all required credentials.
