Job summary

Käthe Wohlfahrt of America is seeking a hands-on Aurora Store Manager to lead our seasonal Christmas Village. You will hire and guide the seasonal team, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our distinctive visual merchandising standards while running the day-to-day store. This role requires scheduling, payroll oversight within budget, overseeing receiving and inventory, and maintaining presentation standards.

The market runs Sept. 21–Dec.

Qualifications

• Retail management or supervisory experience; 2-5 years preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable managing a fast-paced seasonal retail environment.
• Availability for weekends, evenings and holidays during the market season.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.; team lift up to 50 lbs.

Aurora Store Manager - Seasonal Christmas Market

$25-$28/hour | Aurora, IL | Sept. 21-Dec. 26

Käthe Wohlfahrt of America is bringing the magic of a traditional German Christmas market to Aurora, and we're looking for an experienced retail leader to manage our seasonal Christmas Village store.

This is a hands-on Store Manager position with responsibility for hiring and leading the seasonal team, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining our distinctive visual merchandising standards, and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the store.

What you'll do

The market is open Thursday-Sunday, with extended Friday and Saturday evening hours.
