Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Austin, TX is seeking a Tax Staff to assist in delivering tax services across industries. You will engage with project leads, prepare basic to intermediate individual returns, and contribute to corporate and partnership filings.

The role offers opportunities to grow tax knowledge, work with online research tools, and support client engagements, with travel as needed and overtime during peak cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Masters preferred CPA certified or eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel.
• Ability to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles.

Pay Range: $66,000 - $76,000
