Job summary

NSF seeks a Food Safety Retail Auditor in Pittsburgh, PA to perform 2nd party audits for retail clients, summarize findings, and communicate with clients and managers. Travel within a 100-mile radius and occasional weekends/evenings are required. A degree and food safety knowledge are essential; ServSafe or CP-FS preferred.

As the Food Safety Retail Auditor - Pittsburgh, PA you will play a crucial role in the mission of NSF – to protect and improve human and planet health. As a food safety auditor, you will have the opportunity to travel, meet new people, and learn more about many of the businesses you may frequent as a consumer. You’ll inform and educate restaurant, bar, grocery store, and foodservice personnel about specific standards while continuing to learn more about those industries and grow your skills

Salary Range: $40,000-$64,000

The total pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At NSF, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
