The Office of Internal Audit, an office within the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is looking to fill an Auditor I position. Join a team of professionals working together to provide independent, objective, and timely oversight across the DHHS organization! This office assists DHHS leadership in continuously improving operations by providing independent and objective analysis.
The Auditor I is an entry level position who conducts audits, reviews and analyzes available information, identifies potential issues, reports findings, interprets results, and/or makes recommendations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and department requirements for the various programs and areas within the DHHS. They also participate in determining the effectiveness of processes and help make recommendations for improvement. The Auditor I requires limited local travel. A MS Excel skill test and/or writing skill test may be given as part of the interview process.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule which includes both teleworking and in-office work. Please note, a position’s eligibility for hybrid work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion at any time and for any reason.
