Job summary

Aldrich seeks driven undergraduates for a 8‑week summer internship in our Carlsbad or San Diego offices. You will rotate across audit and tax teams, gaining exposure to multiple service areas in a hands‑on environment.

The POOL program focuses on education, varied experience, and achievement of goals, helping you develop professionally while contributing to client work. This is an in‑person, temporary role with no standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing an accounting-related degree.
• Superior communication and writing skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional services environment.
• Availability to work up to 32 hours/week for 8 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Develop a broad understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.
• Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior associates and managers.
• Prepare audit planning documents, procedures, reports, or tax returns.
• Review and evaluate internal control systems, policies, and procedures.
• Examine and organize accounts and tax records.
• Compute taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
