Job summary

Rehmann in Troy, Michigan is seeking proactive interns for Audit and Tax roles. Interns will review financial statements, perform audit procedures, and prepare tax returns for various clients. This internship provides mentorship and a chance to engage in diverse accounting tasks while developing critical skills.

The ideal candidate is pursuing an accounting major, preferably with completion of relevant courses, and has strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of an accounting major and eventual CPA license.
• Completion of Intermediate Financial Accounting I by the start of the internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Some work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review prior year work papers and financial statements.
• Perform audit procedures for moderately complex areas.
• Prepare individual and business tax returns.
• Ensure work papers are complete and issues documented.
