Job summary

Distinct | North America is seeking an Audit Supervisor at a small CPA firm in Burlington, MA. You will own audit engagements, plan engagements, allocate staff, monitor budgets, and communicate with clients from planning through reporting.

Expect 4–5 years of public accounting experience, prior supervision of junior staff, and CPA exam progress. The summer schedule is 36 hours/week with Fridays remote, followed by a hybrid 4 days in-office/1 from home outside summer.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience supervising junior staff and taking responsibility for engagements.
• At least part of the CPA exams completed or CPA licensed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage audit engagements from planning to reporting.
• Allocate staff, monitor budgets, and supervise work.
• Communicate with clients and manage engagement timelines.
