Job summary

McKonly & Asbury is actively seeking an Audit Supervisor to join our Assurance team in Pennsylvania. This role suits an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys leading engagement teams, mentoring staff, and delivering exceptional service.

You will lead and supervise audit engagements, manage multiple client projects, and help with planning, budgeting, and risk assessment while fostering strong client relationships. A CPA is preferred and a Bachelor's in Accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA license preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
• Experience leading engagement teams and reviewing staff work.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit, review, and other assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to professional standards.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, reports, and other engagement deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and technical training to staff and senior accountants.
• Assist managers and partners with engagement planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional client service.
• Research complex accounting and auditing matters and provide recommendations to engagement teams and clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve client processes and enhance engagement effectiveness.
