Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the Mid-West Region offices. We plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service, working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.

The role includes auditing complex areas/transactions, researching accounting issues, and preparing financial statements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
