CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC (CLA) is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the Midwest region. You will lead assurance engagements and work closely with clients and decision makers to deliver high-quality financial reporting.

Responsibilities include auditing complex areas, preparing financial statements, and coaching junior staff. CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred, with opportunities to advance within CLA's nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Role Overview

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our Mid-West Region offices. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Compensation

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is 72,000.00-$126,000.00. The compensation range for this position in Illinois is $72,000.00-$131,000.00.
