Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Audit Senior for our State and Local Government practice in the West Region. You will lead assurance engagements, work with clients, and mentor team members while addressing complex accounting issues and reporting requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting or finance, 2 years of audit experience, SLG exposure preferred, and CPA eligibility. Competitive compensation varies by location with CA ranges noted.

• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our West Region offices. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role

The compensation range for this position in Colorado is $80,000.00-$131,000.00

The compensation range for this position in California is $87,000.00-$146,000.00
