Job summary

CLA, CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC, in Houston, TX, is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government practice. You will plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements, work closely with clients and decision makers, and prepare financial statements and reports.

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of audit experience are required; SLG experience is a plus and CPA eligibility is preferred.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our Houston Texas office. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2,100 local, county, and state government agencies.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience required.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
