Job summary

CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our Mid-West Region offices. Our SLG group serves over 2100 government agencies and provides extensive assurance services.

The role involves planning, leading, and executing assurance engagements, collaborating with clients, and mentoring team members. Minnesota and Illinois market ranges apply, with competitive compensation. CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant audit experience.
• SLG industry experience is a plus.
• CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.
• Work closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.
• Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.
• Develop and maintain effective client relationships.

How you'll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is 72,000.00-$126,000.00.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is $72,000.00-$131,000.00.
