Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking an Audit Senior for our Greenville, SC office to support audit engagements, develop audit approaches, and mentor staff while working on a hybrid schedule. This role demands 2+ years in public accounting; CPA or progress toward licensure is preferred. You will collaborate with teams and clients, review financial statements, and help expand technical expertise in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s preferred.
• CPA certification or active progress toward licensure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with audit procedures and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and clients to discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks.
• Develop audit approaches used by engagement teams.
• Instruct, oversee, and support Audit & Assurance Staff throughout engagements.
• Expand technical knowledge by reviewing complex client transactions.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements.
• Complete general audit procedures, including coordinating closing communications, drafting client correspondence, and resolving open items.
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
