Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Austin is seeking an Audit Senior for a hybrid role. You will lead audit engagements, oversee staff, and develop audit approaches while ensuring high-quality financial statement work. The position emphasizes client service, integrity, and leadership in a dynamic environment.

Requirements include 2+ years in public accounting, bachelor’s degree in accounting, and CPA eligibility or licensure. Experience with Engagement is a plus and a strong multi-tasking ability is valued.

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task).

Responsibilities

• Dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client specific risks.
• Develop audit approach to be used by the engagement teams.
• Instruct and oversee fellow A&A Staff throughout engagements.
• Broaden technical knowledge through review of complex client transactions.
• Financial statement preparation and/or review.
• Complete general audit procedures (coordination of audit closing communications, drafting client correspondence, resolving open items).
• Research technical issues using online tools.
• Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Masters preferred CPA certified or eligible

Pay Range: 86,700 - 114,700
